January Chapter Meeting

Happy new year! We will hear from self defense instructor Master Opal Harbert at our January meeting. Don’t miss it!

Master Opal Harbert is a martial arts instructor at Mount Spokane Martial Arts in Mead, Washington.

She has trained in traditional Taekwon Do, Commando Krav Maga, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Eastern soft styles, and weapons training. Master Opal specializes in working with kids of all ages and focuses on developing respect, discipline, and a love for martial arts in her students. She has taught self-defense for women, children, private parties, and organizations including Girl Scouts, nursing students, and professional groups in both the United States and Mexico.

Members have a standing reservation for all chapter meetings and must notify the Sergeant-at-Arms of any planned absences by noon the Wednesday before the meeting. After that, both late and unexcused absences will be responsible for their dinner dues.
Guest requests are also due by Wednesday before the meeting at noon.
