EWI of Spokane Chapter President

As I sit down to write this final message, I find myself reflecting on the past year with a full heart. What a journey it has been of growth, of connection, and of showing up for one another in ways big and small.
When I chose the theme “I am enough, and so are you,” I did it as a reminder to myself and to all of you, that we don’t have to be perfect to be powerful. We don’t have to have it all together to make a difference. We simply have to show up, support each other, and keep moving forward with intention and grace. And this year, you did just that.
To the 2024-2025 Board of Directors: you are the heartbeat of this Chapter. Your unwavering support, your countless hours, your willingness to say “yes” and “let’s figure it out together,” it has meant everything. Thank you for walking beside me, for lifting me up when I needed it, and for never losing sight of why we do this work. Your dedication has shaped this Chapter in ways that will ripple far beyond this year.
And now, it’s time to pass the baton. Please help me welcome and congratulate Sarah Brede as your incoming Chapter President. Sarah is a leader with heart, vision, and integrity. I have every confidence that she will lead this Chapter with strength, compassion, and purpose. She is exactly what we need for the next leg of the journey, and I am so excited to see what’s ahead under her leadership.
To every member of EWI of Spokane, you have touched my heart. Thank you for your kindness, your laughter, your vulnerability, and your trust. Thank you for reminding me that leadership isn’t about having all the answers—it’s about creating space for others to shine.
This Chapter has been a safe place to fail forward, to celebrate loudly, and to grow into who we’re becoming. And if I leave you with anything, let it be this:
You are enough. Right now, as you are. And so is the person next to you. Let’s keep showing up for each other with open hearts, open hands, and open minds.
With love and gratitude,
Jen Goe
