You could be just six questions away from attending LCAM 2019 in Milwaukee, WI! Are you interested in furthering your professional development in and through EWI? Have you been active in EWI for the past several years including leading and/or serving on a committee or donating your time? Then the Past Presidents’ Leadership Conference and Annual Meeting (LCAM) Scholarship is an opportunity you don’t want to miss.
LCAM is a premier event for executive women in the U.S. and Canada. It provides an opportunity to network with a variety of professionals and colleagues from around the country, to share best practices, to exchange ideas on creative fundraising and chapter growth, and to establish new friendships.
LCAM also offers professional key note presentations and an Academy of Leadership (AOL) module. This year’s keynote speakers are Karen McCullough (karenmccullough.com) speaking on Change is Good . . . You Go First and Jeff Butler (jeffbutler.com) speaking on 21st Century Leadership – How to Cultivate Leadership in Today’s Workplace. Professional break-out sessions will also feature Karen and Jeff as well as EWI Workshops on Programs, Membership & Treasurer, Team Work, Board & Committee Service, and Fundraising. This year’s Academy of Leadership includes Lessons in Leadership – How to Motivate, Influence and Lead People to Action presented by Lori Giovannoni, Emotional Intelligence presented by Kristi Emmons Jones, and an Alumni Experience.
The scholarship to the Annual Conference in Milwaukee, WI from September 18-21, 2019 covers conference registration for the Annual Meeting and Academy of Leadership plus round trip airfare. The scholarship is offered in an effort to encourage growth of future EWI leaders and to encourage representatives who are interested in pursuing Chapter leadership positions but have not had an opportunity to attend LCAM in the past. This is our chapter’s opportunity to develop new leaders for service to our Chapter, and we encourage you to apply. The award recipient will be announced at the July chapter meeting.
