February Meeting – Lunch Meeting
February 15 @ 11:30 am - 1:30 pm
February 15, 2022
Join us for our Lunch Meeting at The Podium – Spokane’s brand new indoor, multi-sports complex. The keynote speaker is Nadine Burgess, owner of Spokane Gymnastics.
Nadine started coaching gymnastics at 14 years old, and it remained her passion as a “fun side gig” before becoming a manager, then owner, of Spokane Gymnastics in 2010. Along with an incredible team of dedicated coaches, Nadine grew Spokane Gymnastics from a small gym with 125 students and 8 part-time coaches, to a large program with 82 coaches serving 2200 students in a 30,000sq facility, now known as “Spokane Gymnastics Argonne Village.”
Expansion during a global pandemic is not for everyone, but with Nadine’s mantra of “anything worth doing is worth overdoing,” she purchased another local gymnastics club, hired the founders and members of the coaching staff, and opened the 17,000sq “Spokane Gymnastics Pines” team training facility in June of 2020.
Nadine believes that development through sports activity is needed more than ever before and that our community’s brightest days are still ahead. A proud Rotarian, Nadine also serves as a board member of Embrace Washington, Children FIRST, and Greater Spokane Incorporated.
