Letter from the President – August 2023

by Amanda Landreth, STCU
EWI of Spokane Chapter President

I hope this newsletter finds you all well and enjoying the warm embrace of summer. As we enter the month of August, I cannot help but reflect on the wonderful evening we had at our July Chapter Meeting, hosted by our esteemed EWI past presidents. It was truly a night to remember, filled with inspiration, camaraderie, and laughter. Thank you all for making it such a memorable and fun-filled event!

During the meeting, one of our past presidents, Mary, shared a heartfelt message that touched the hearts of everyone present. She spoke about the importance of our EWI tribe and what it truly means to be a part of something special. Our EWI tribe is not just a professional network; it is a community that offers unwavering support, guidance, and fun throughout the different areas and stages of our lives.

As we enjoy the warm summer months, let us take this time to cherish moments with our families and loved ones. Summer reminds us to slow down, to breathe in the warm air, and to savor the stillness of the slow summer nights. It is in these quiet moments that we can truly appreciate the beauty of life and the incredible bonds we have formed within our EWI tribe.

Let us continue to support and uplift one another, not just in our professional endeavors but in all aspects of our lives. Together, we can make a difference in each other’s lives and in our community.

Thank you all for being a part of this incredible journey with us. Enjoy the rest of the summer, and may it be filled with warmth, joy, and cherished moments with your loved ones.
