June is upon us, and it brings with it the warmth of summer and the excitement of a new season. As we reflect on the past month, I cannot help but feel a sense of pride and gratitude for the success of our Chapter meeting and scholarship celebration.
Our scholarship meeting was truly a memorable event, filled with joy, inspiration, and a celebration of the amazing individuals in our community who were awarded scholarships. These scholars have shown exceptional dedication and commitment to their education, and on behalf of EWI of Spokane, I am honored to have played a part in supporting their dreams.
One of the highlights of the event was our guest speaker, Sarah Hader, a former scholarship recipient who shared her inspiring journey with us. Sarah’s story is a testament to the power of resilience and determination. Despite facing setbacks along the way, she never gave up on her dream, and continued to pursue her education with unwavering passion. Sarah’s words resonated deeply with all of us, reminding us that with perseverance, anything is possible.
Sarah’s story serves as a reminder of the impact our scholarships can have on the lives of deserving individuals. By investing in education and supporting these talented individuals, we are not only shaping their futures but also contributing to the growth and prosperity of our community as a whole.
As we embark on this new month, let us carry Sarah’s story in our hearts and remember that setbacks are not roadblocks, but opportunities for growth. Let us continue to support one another, uplift each other, and inspire those around us to reach for the stars.
