Spring is in the air! Anyone else feel like they are emerging? There are many great things happening in our community as we start to open up, and there are also great things happening with EWI of Spokane. We’ve already gained several new member firms and new firm representatives this year. The Fundraising Committee is focusing on “fun” with the unique self-care events that help raise funds for our scholarship programs. The Programs Committee is knocking it out the park this spring with engaging speakers. Alisha Benson, CEO of GSI really inspired us with her presentation, “The Power of We.” Our speaker for March is another legendary Spokane visionary. We will be treated to some time with Tyler Lafferty, marketing guru, successful entrepreneur, and author of a new book, Be More Like You. I’m so excited to hear what he will share with us.
Looking further into spring, we are partnering again with INSHRM to host a national speaker on personal and professional development, Pete Smith. What a spring line-up! Please share these exciting speakers with guests and potential members! There’s never been a better time to invite guests: our meetings are free and easy to attend with your nearest computer, phone or tablet. As a reminder, we are opening our meetings at 4:45 to give representatives a chance to network before the meeting starts at 5:00. Looking forward to seeing you soon.
