On Wednesday, June 6, EWI representatives, along with Otto from the Spokane Indians surprised 75 third graders at Cooper Elementary, by hosting this year’s Reading Rally. For two hours, EWI shared their passion for reading through fun, interactive activities including mad libs, story cubes and finish the story. Family Support Services assembled 60 Easter baskets of donated items. Each basket featured an Easter stuffed animal donated by the employees of Winston & Cashatt. The baskets were distributed on Easter morning. The children were thrilled that the Easter bunny didn't forget them and that he delivered their basket to them at the Children's Hospital.

Our Fundraising Committee is offering Victorian Hanging Flower Baskets for $30. The Victorian Baskets will be provided by Lima Greenhouses and are grown in various flower and color combinations.
