Women Helping Women Fund Luncheon

Women Helping Women Fund will hold its 25th annual benefit luncheon on Tuesday, May 23 at the Spokane Convention Center from 11:30am – 1:30pm. Glennon Doyle Melton, author of the New York Times Bestsellers Carry on, Warrior and Love Warrior and the founder of Momastery.com, will be the keynote speaker. The cost to attend the event is a minimum donation of $125 which will go to programs empowering local women and children. EWI Representative Mary Tracey with Transitions is hosting a table. Avista and the Avista Foundation have made more than $500,000 in seasonal contributions to nearly 90 nonprofits in its Washington, Idaho, Oregon, Montana, and Alaska service areas. About $215,000 of those donations went to Project Share, which provides one-time emergency energy assistance. In all, the company and the foundation donated $2.1 million this year.
